The espresso shot is different for each country, broadly defined
extract 6.5-20g of coffee powder to 21-42 ml extract. at a pressure of 8-9 bar within 20-35 seconds at a temperature of 88-92 degrees Celsius. (185-204 F)
The purpose of a one shot cup to measure the exact volume of extracts.
Standard italy:
6.5-7g coffee powder extracted to 1-oz = 30 ml of water.
13-14 gram powder for doble shot espresso = 60ml.
American standards use more coffee than italy, hinggi 20g or more for 2 hot.
For Indonesia, depending on the glass used, and the tastes of the customers
Espresso is used to make Cappuccino, standard cappuccino volume is 6-8oz or 180-240 cc volume, made from
1-1,5 shot = 30-45 ml espresso.
