Creme Brulee Recipe

we're gonna share with you on how to make your own homemade creme brulee by our chef Hendy Gunawan

first, the ingredients :                                                            Yields : 6 serves
1. half and half ( half cream and half milk )                            500 Ml
2. egg yolk                                                                              3 - 4 pcs
3. sugar                                                                                   50 gram
4. vanilla extract                                                                     1 / 2 teaspoons
 
how to make :
1. pre heat the oven until 110 degress celcius, in this case we are using naboo compact combi oven mode. meanwhile heat it up half cream and half milk with vanilla extract , but don't boil. about until the ball appears on the edge of the pan. after that leave it about 15 minnutes
 
2. in different bowl put egg yolk and sugar and then mix them using hand mix. shake until it blends and the color change into light yellow.
 
3. put half cream and half milk mix into egg yolk mixture gently while you stirred it softly ( don't make it bubbly ), and then filter the mixture
 
4. fill the bowl with brulee mix until 3/4 full, prepare your roasting tray, put warm water in the tray up to about the height ¾ of the brulee bowl.
 
5. Put it in the preheated oven and cook for 45 minutes or until the crème brulee is set. And let it cool down at least 2 hours or 24 hours in the refrigerator

6. For presentation. Remove the crème brulee from the refrigerator and sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of sugar, then spread the torch until the sugar turns into caramel.

Crème brulee is ready to be served, For taste can be varied.
